Welcome To My Website
Actress and Singer
I am Michaela Bennison, a young actress and singer currently based in London, specialising in stage and musical theatre work. I completed my undergraduate Music degree at the University of Southampton in 2012, and have since run regular singing workshops at The Art House Southampton. I also recently produced my first cabaret, Finding Our Way, at the Talking Heads, Southampton. I am currently training at the Royal Academy of Music.
I have worked with many projects at the Nuffield Theatre, including the Workshop Production of the original musical Billy Bow, and the revue concert Gershwin Remembered, where I worked alongside Daniel Boys. Whilst an active member of Showstoppers, Southampton University’s Musical Theatre Society, my stage roles have included Rusty in Footloose and Cathy in The Last 5 Years. In the summer of 2013 I performed a one-night performance of Kooman and Dimond’s Homemade Fusion in June 2013, to raise funds for local Southampton-based composer Stephanie Jayne Amies and her original Edinburgh show 8 Storeys Up.
